腎上腺性接受器的beta 亞型的第三型，尚未通過臨床試驗(2016)，一般在學校藥理學交到時通常會介紹有減肥的潛力，因為可以幫助燃燒脂肪。但是一篇NATURE的論文指出，beta3 agonist也會作用在骨髓的beta3 receptor(體內的insintric agonist是NE)而增加monocyte和neutrophil，進而增加中風機率。但是換個想法，或許可以用在monocyte和neutrophil低下的病人當作免疫療法，而且有減肥的副作用。
mirabegron (美國商品名Myrbetriq，AstellasPharma藥廠)(歐洲商品名Betmiga貝坦利) 是一個beta3 agonist治療尿失禁的藥品，可能的副作用是高血壓。機轉是:Mirabegron activates the β3 adrenergic receptor in the detrusor muscle in the bladder, which leads to muscle relaxation and an increase in bladder capacity.
