- articaine(Foye 6th 新藥):不似其它amide類local anesthetics含苯環，本藥的芳香環是thiophene並且含有carbomethoxy gr.，所以和相同pKa and pt.-binding的amide local anesthetics: lidocaine比起來more potent。為amide類local anesthetics中易受plasma cholinesterase水解的例外(水解處是ester而非amide)，所以比其他短效的amide類local anesthetics比起來duration更短，還要安全。用在dental procedures(regional anesthesia).
